14-Year Old Musilim Boy Arrested for his Invention

A 14-year old teen and a ninth-grade student at MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas named Ahmed Muhammad was arrested when school management reverted and specified as a ‘Hoax Bomb’ from him. The police said that it was a homemade clock, not an explosive or bomb. The New York Times also indicated that English teacher of Ahmed threatened by the invention of boy when it started ‘beep’ sound; the teacher threatened and called police help.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Ahmed explained that he brought a clock into the school on Monday that he modified as a digital look in a low-cost box, to show his Engineering teacher, and his teacher appreciated his effort and said ‘Nice’, but not to show to other teachers about this invention. It was beeped in the classroom during English period, then Ahmed open to view in front of his English teacher, but his teacher said it is dangerous and called police.

Ahmed Muhammad told that he was arrested from school by the police and they entered me to a room filled with five officers. They started investigation and searched my stuff and took my invention and tablet. The police spokesman James McLellan said that we haven’t any specific information that he described it as a bomb, but he maintained that it is a clock but he could not explain any more. A Twitter user Robert Wilonsky also retweeted the statement of President Obama ‏@POTUS account, which said ‘Cool Clock, Ahmed. We need it to bring it to White House. We should motivate more kids like You that like science. It will make America Great.
