Early in the September 2015, news was updated online by a Twitter account indicating that Halloween will be celebrated on 31st October 2015 and it would be the 666th event in the history. The Twitter user said that first Halloween event was celebrated in the year 1350. Most of the people believe that a number of Halloween culture have derivative from an earliest Celtic festival ‘Samhain’, and it was Christianized by an early church. The word Samhain (sow-in) is considered a Gaelic word that means ‘End of the Summer’, which is normally dedicated as the celebration at ending season of the harvest and starting preparation for coming winter season.
It is also found that Halloween was originally described as an event of playing pranks in the United States, but the modern Halloween event didn’t get more popularity until the start of 20th century. It is said that first Halloween event is dedicated to Anoka, Minnesota in 1920 in the United States. So, Anoka, Minnesota was declared as the first city to arrange the event for the youngsters in the United States. George Green and some major Anoka leaders proposed a design for a biggest celebration in 1920. This proposal was presented by Anoka Commercial Club and Anoka Kiwanis Club with their complete support, and the event was organized in the month of September 1920. But, now a rumor indicated that 666th Halloween event is going to be held in the month of October 2015. We could not find the beginning date and year of Halloween event, so it is considered as to be false for 666th celebration of Halloween.
