Unarmed Tulsa resident 40-years old Terence Crutcher was killed by a police officer. This incident became a famous topic for debate due to a video was available of this incident showing Crutcher with his hands in the air and unresisting against police orders just before he was killed by a police officer. A number of social media users claimed about the life of Crutcher and blamed police officer for this incident. Tulsa World published the initial report mentioning the major factors of this incident. The SUV vehicle of Crutcher is still standing on the street after an encounter with police. He was killed by police officer after he denied fulfilling requirements of police to put his hands up, but he walked and reached to his vehicle.

Police has released two videos on 19th September 2016 regarding the incident. Both videos are graphic in nature and showing fatal shots by police. A debate was started regarding this incident, some said that he was obeying the police orders, but police suddenly opened fire and killed him. Some said that initial reports have indicated that he was killed after he refused to raise his hands and didn’t obey police orders. Both, Tulsa television station KJRH and Tulsa World newspaper reported and showed released police videos. The Associated Press also reported on 20th September 2016 that Crutcher was unarmed and following the police orders and he didn’t have any kind of weapon in his vehicle. It is important that the office of the Tulsa County District Attorney has issued a statement that Police Officer Betty Shelby will face 1st degree manslaughter charges and killing Terence Crutcher.
