Trump Hotel dispute and investigation of Panama Government

On Monday, the government of Panama said that they initiated an investigation on a complaint. The complaint was against the executives for the family hotel business of U.S President Trump that they were illegally controlling a 70-story luxury Trump hotel during a management dispute. It was said by the Public Ministry that the investigation is on its way in order to find whether there was any kind of criminal activity regarding the issue at the Trump International Hotel in Panama. The ministry is also looking to ask for more information from both sides. This dispute brought armed guards at the location and a fight started for taking control over a room of computer servers. There were allegations of inappropriately grinding documents.

The employees are following the directions of Trump’s hotel business executives. They have a physical control over the property, but the owners of the hotel now controlled some of the banks’ accounts of the hotel. The announcement on Monday from the Panama government comes in response to a tension between the owners of hotel and executives of Trump. These executives were hired a number of years ago (before Trump was elected as the new U.S President) to run the hotel. The hotel owners have been seeking since October to dump the brand of Trump and management team due to allegations of unacceptable financial performance and financial wrongdoing. Point to be noted that the owners voted to fire the management company of Trump last year and they should leave the property immediately.
