Trey Gowdy criticized Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions
On Sunday, the attorney of U.S President was criticized by Rep. Trey Gowdy. Trump’s attorney earlier said that there might be an end of the investigation of special counsel Robert Mueller regarding alleged Russian intervention during the U.S presidential election 2016 and potential links between the campaign of Trump and Russia. Gowdy said on Fox News Sunday that “I think the attorney of President Trump, does him a disfavor when he says and what he says about the development of the investigation. If you see at the domination of Robert Mueller, what did Russia plan to do with the United States during U.S presidential election 2016”? It is most important that it has nothing to do with conspiracy. Gowdy said that Mueller should supposedly shut down because he is looking at a whitewash.
On Saturday, the lawyer of president Trump, John Dowd called on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to Bring an End to Mueller’s involvement in the alleged Russian interference. It came a day after the Deputy Director of FBI, Andrew McCabe was fired by the Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Dowd said in a statement that he expects that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will maintain the remarkable and impressive example of the FBI Office for its Professional Responsibilities. Point to be noted that Gowdy is serving for the House Intelligence Committee. Republican members of this Committee recently published a report that they didn’t find any evidence of a connection between Trump’s campaign and Russia. He said that he will advise Trump not to terminate Mueller.
