Bob Woodward has criticized Trump in his book
The U.S President has angrily responded to the reports of newly and explosively exposing the White House from Bob Woodward. Trump suggested that he will be in the favor of altering the U.S libel laws to avoid the publication of allegations. He also claimed the allegations untrue in his early-morning tweet. The U.S President said in his tweet that “Isn’t it a shame that someone can write an article or book, totally make-up stories and form a picture of a person that is literally the exact opposite of the fact, and get away with it without retribution or cost. Don’t know why Washington politicians don’t change libel laws”? Woodward titled in the explosive book about Trump in the White House. The Watergate reporter who helped bring down the former U.S president Richard Nixon paints a picture of a deeply dysfunctional White House where aides see Trump as an “idiot” and a threat to the national security.
Woodward wrote in his book that some of the president’s closest advisers disparage his judgment and work behind to his back to limit the damage. It can cause to the U.S economy and international relations. The White House has dismissed the book and said that it is “nothing more than fabricated stories, many by former disgruntled employees, told to make the president look bad”. The U.S Defense secretary Jim Mattis and White House chief of staff John F Kelly have each denied making critical comments about Trump attributed to them in the book. Trump described in a tweet on Tuesday that the book as “a con on the public”, disputing a specific passage about him reportedly referring to attorney general Jeff Sessions as “mentally retarded” and “a dumb southerner”. The U.S President suggested Woodward as one of the most celebrated journalists of his generation.
