Judge Barrington Parker rejected a review request filed from Trump Administration
An attempt to overturn a ruling has been kicked out stopping U.S President Trump from blocking Twitter critics. Point to be noted that an appeals court has rejected a request filed Trump administration for a review of the decision after a majority of judges decided a review wasn’t essential. The U.S Circuit Judge Barrington Parker read the original decision as a straightforward application of existing actions and precedent. It is noteworthy that a public forum allows critics to show their disagreements. So, Trump’s personal Twitter account will become public if Trump is looking to use his personal Twitter account for official statements. Trump’s team hasn’t yet showed its response regarding the recent move.
President Trump may experience stiff odds if he attempts to take the case to the U.S Supreme Court. It is important that Judge Parker cited Supreme Court examples when rejecting Trump’s request for a review. The move will likely have implications across the aisle when Democrat House Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez experienced a similar trouble. The decision from appeals court will still allow blocking users for harassment and threats. It will supposedly force politicians to think very carefully regarding how they use their personal accounts. So, they have to accept angry people in their mentions.
The decision came during coronavirus outbreak. The situation in the country is getting worse but Trump claims 2 already available drugs could be a Game Changer when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. ABC News reported that U.S president touted last week during a press conference, “Australia saw a surge of prescriptions for drugs, including chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine (sold under a variety of names). The Ohio Board of Pharmacy was also taking steps during the weekend to prevent residents from buying the drugs in bulk. Moreover, pharmacists in Tijuana, Mexico have informed there are a lot of people from north of the border coming here and buying the medications. On Monday, more than 35,000 Americans have contracted coronavirus Covid-19.
