President Trump was criticized by Republican Senator John Cornyn
US President Donald Trump is under attack from Republican senator John Cornyn. The senator was speaking on Sunday with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Republican senator Cornyn openly criticized the US president in apparent comparison to a troubled marriage as someone with who he had personal disagreements. Point to be noted that Cornyn’s interview with the Star-Telegram published on Sunday. He said, “Maybe like a lot of women who get married and think they’re going to change their spouse. That doesn’t usually work out very well”. Cornyn was elected as Texas senator in 2002 and he accepted that he avoided public confrontations with the president.
Cornyn added, “But when I have had differences of opinion, which I have to do that privately. I have found that has allowed me to be much more effective, I believe than to satisfy those who say I ought to call him out or get into a public fight with him. He also said, “I think what we found is that we’re not going to change president Trump. He is who he is. You either love him or hate him, and there’s not much in-between”. His comments came as opinion polls suggest Texas and other once-predictable states could prove competitive for Democratic challengers to US Congress, with Cornyn’s contender, MJ Hegar.
Last week, Cornyn was just 3 percentage points behind in an opinion poll published by Public Policy Polling. His comments came after Republican senator from Nebraska Ben Sasse was reported to have said that President Trump mishandled the coronavirus response. He just kisses dictators’ butts and disrespects women. The Washington Examiner also reported that Sasse responded to Donald Trump’s comments. He warned Republicans could lose the US Senate because of the President of the United States. President Trump earlier said the senator was little and the least effective of our 53 Republican senators, but a wonderful guy!
