Twitter Blue Subscribers Can Now Access Podcasts Featuring Spaces

The Twitter Spaces feature was just available to select users after announcing a revamp in August. The social platform has now opened the feature to Twitter Blue subscribers with an iOS device. It enables users to experience audio stations, podcasts, and Spaces audio after examining the feature from Twitter Blue Labs.

However, it was just an audio platform when Twitter Spaces initially launched and offered live audio conversations to users. Users always found a host as well as co-hosts with an unlimited number of people occupying the space. The social platform decided in August to redesign the space to support its podcast enterprises.

Twitter’s Spaces Tab & Personalized Hubs

Twitter reconstructed the Spaces tab and introduced personalized hubs. These hubs contain different content themes such as news, sports, music, and other features. The company also presented live and recorded content and constantly managed to add the original Spaces audio platform. Twitter efficiently utilizes user data to present podcast suggestions.

Moreover, it would enable listeners to decide on like and dislike content to enhance their listening capability. The social platform’s research showed in August that around 45% of Twitter users listened to podcasts. It would enable its new project to host podcasts massively productive after appropriately bolstering the platform.

Meanwhile, Twitter Blue subscribers on iOS can now enjoy the new Spaces. They can also listen to managed audio and podcasts after linking the experimental feature in Twitter Blue Labs. Labs currently offer users the capability to upload larger and higher-resolution videos. It would enable them to set up an NFT profile picture.

Twitter Blue is Available in Select Countries

It is important that users signed up for Twitter Blue will also obtain access to various components. These include ad-free articles, custom app icons; undo tweet feature, a bookmarks folder, themes, and others. However, Twitter Blue is now available in the United States, New Zealand, and Australia.

The suggested price was $3.99/ month, while the platform recently increased it to $4.99/ month. Spaces offer an efficient mechanism to bring live audio conversations on Twitter. The company is examining and building this in the open with @TwitterSpaces.

Use the Following Steps to Start a Space

• The host is often the creator of a Space. Long press the Tweet compose icon on your Home timeline to start a Space. Then select the Spaces audio icon on Android. However, users can start a Space after selecting the Spaces tab on your timeline.
• Anyone can connect as a listener because Spaces are public. Adding a link, sharing a link, or Tweeting out a link to the Space can directly invite listeners.
• It enables a host, 2 co-hosts, and at least 13 people to speak in a Space at any specific allocated time. Users will find options to “Name your Space” and “Start your Space” during creating a new Space.
• Users can also tap Schedule for later to manage a Space. Select the time and date to bring your Space live.
• The host can forward requests to listeners to create co-hosts after starting the Space. The host can tap on people icon to add co-hosts or tap a profile picture of a person within a Space. Moreover, listeners can get permission to speak after tapping on the Request icon beneath the microphone.
• The host will connect using mic off when creating a Space and become the only speaker.
• Toggle “Allow mic access” to on in order to grant speaking ability.
• Your Space will instantly serve live captions as the host.
• Tap the “Show captions” button in your Spaces settings if users need to see captions.
• Now, users can start chatting in their Space.
