Last year, Vimeo introduced a video editing platform named Cameo and now Vimeo has launched an upgraded and complete suite of their app. New update of Cameo include most similar features such as editing, importing and HD video support, but in redesigning process social networking features of Cameo have been removed in this new update. In the previous version users were able to follow other film-makers inside the app and they could view their work or posts in the Instagram-style feed. The Vimeo Company says that eliminating the social networking feature is considered as a part of a broader focus on integrating Cameo completely into Vimeo.

The Vimeo Company would add new features video made on Cameo in their new update with the exchange of eliminating social network features, and company is calling as ‘Best of Cameo’ channel. The new app included some new functionality which was not available in its previous version. One important feature is import function and using clips that are longer than 6 seconds. It would allow clip maker to use the platform more in depth for films. This new update provides instrumental-only sound tracks for users to use in their own videos. These videos can be imported from any individual artist and this feature will be available for free using Cameo to use in all created videos. There is also great news for Cameo users that Cameo’s new update is available for users and anyone using its old version, can download it from the iOS app store.
