A Friendly Settlement between Dr. David Dao & United Airlines
A lawsuit has rapidly and politely settled filed against United Airlines by a passenger David Dao. He is a Kentucky physician and violently dragged off from a plane. A statement issued on 27th April 2017 by the attorneys of Dao and said Dr. David Dao has reached a harmonious settlement with United Airlines for the abuses he received on 9th April 2017 suffering. The incident was captured on video and watched worldwide. This settlement took place by the lawyers of Dr. Dao including Stephen L. Golan from Golan Christie Taglia and Thomas A. Demetrio from Corboy with the legal representatives from United Airlines. Dr. Dao and his attorneys have agreed on the condition and this settlement includes an arrangement but the settlement amount was still confidential. Point to be noted that Dao received widespread disgrace and condolences when other onboard passengers posted videos online.
He was dragged off the flight by the airport police at the airport of Chicago O’Hare. The destination of flight was Louisville, Kentucky. The videos were showing that Dao was appeared unconscious with blood coming out of his mouth. Dao was pulled out from the flight in order to accommodate crew members of United Airlines who needed to transfer Dao to Louisville from another flight, but Dao rejected to leave his seat and said that he had patients to see early in the coming morning. A spokesperson from the United Airlines said that it has been confirmed that Dr. Dao and United Airlines have reached a friendly settlement regarding the unfortunate incident happened on the flight 3411 and we are looking for further improvements in order to provide better services to our customers.
