A Man Arrested in Kentucky for Destroying Memorial Day Ceremony

A 27 years old man Anthony Burrus was arrested after he allegedly operated a vehicle and scattered hundreds of crosses at a Memorial Day display in Kentucky on 28th May 2016. The police report indicated that a man captured driving at a military display and destroyed a large number of crosses. Those crosses were placed for a ceremony of Memorial Day in Kentucky Park. The police department confirmed that the suspect 27 years old Anthony Burrus was arrested after a couple of hours of the incident and charged for first degree criminal activity and destroyed military Memorial Day ceremony in Kentucky. After the arrest of Burrus, a meme published on social media websites and indicated that Burrus had smashed the memorial ceremony after he decided that “veteran lives don’t matter”.

Point to be noted that the published information were not came from any official source. Burrus said that he didn’t destroy the ceremony intentionally. He confirmed that he was driving the vehicle, but he refused to drive in the park and demolished the ceremony. The spokesperson of the Henderson Police Department, Jennifer Richmond declared that it wasn’t confirmed that Burrus destroyed the Memorial Day ceremony intentionally or it was just an accident, but the evidences were sticking with tires of his vehicle. She further added that the damages might have been turn over, since the vehicle was jumped over the barrier before smashing the memorial ceremony.
