A Pig With Blue Fat Found in Morgan Hill

A Reddit user GlendilTEK updated a post on 9^th September 2015, uploaded images with the title ‘The Weird Pig’, this post was republished of subreddit by ‘r/whatisthisthing’ with a title ‘My in laws shot a wild pig on their farm in Morgan Hill, California. The strange part described that a pig has ‘fluorescent blue fat’. This photo gallery includes five photographs claimed bizarre dead body of a pig and this pig was shot at a farm in Morgan Hill, California. They were thinking it as a normal pig but they found a strange thing in it. When they trenched into the pig and found a fluorescent blue fat in the pig. It is normally considered that blue pigmentation happens by copper poisoning. They have shot a number of pig before this incident but didn’t find such kind of things in them. It was also found that other things in the ping were normal such as blood and meat.

Some farmers said that ‘we often use poison for ground squirrels with anticoagulant rodinticide and it is blue in color. It the meat appears in blue then it is not to eat for humans. Another user who claimed as an ecologist said it as blue pig syndrome, this kind of pig was found in 1998 in Uganda. But, the Makerere University of Veterinary Medicine and Laboratory, UK didn’t find the cause of syndrome and it is still a mystery. It supposedly happened by the ingesting water by a local food or by a candy making factory that uses blue color in their products. This news and photographs were not generated by any other user except this post. But its authenticity was not yet proven.
