On Monday, the U.S Vice President Mike Pence said that the Threat of Invasion from Russia has built a stronger and united NATO has its own importance in the current circumstances since the Soviet Union scattered. He added that Russia is looking to redesign international borders by force. Pence delivered his words during a meeting with the leaders from Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. He said that Russia is seeking to destabilize democracies of self-independent nations and free nations of European countries might be divided. Above-mentioned 3 European countries have now joined NATO, but showed an expected pressure of Russian interference. Point to be noted that these countries were part of the Soviet Union and got independence in the beginning of 1990s.
Pence further added that stronger and united NATO is essential in the current situation. The United States of America strongly denies any attempt to use threat, force, pressure or harmful invasion from Russia in the Baltic States or against any of our partners. Pence delivered his words in the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Mike Pence is on a 3-days visit and it was his first stop in Tallinn. He will also visit Georgia and Montenegro. He also indicated that the United States still needs much better relations with Russia. Point to be noted that the U.S President Trump had shown his concern among NATO members and said the organization was “obsolete” and falling from its promise that America can protect its ally members if they aren’t able to spend on the military.
