A Woman Arrested for Making Fur Coats with Cats of Neighbor

A website “World News Daily Report” published an article on 15^th December 2014 with a title “Little Old Lady Arrested for Making Fur Coats with Cats of Neighbor”. The story indicated that an unnamed 85-year old woman resident of Waco, Texas has been allegedly arrested and charged with unmentioned crimes after police experienced her Cruella de Vil-like activities. A Texas resident 85-years old woman has been arrested by the local law enforcement agency. She was reportedly caught on film kidnapping one of her neighbor’s pet cats. Her neighbor blamed that she was making fur coats with cat furs. One resident of her neighborhood said that there was a mysterious disappearance of domestic animals in the area.

After disappearing of their cats and pets, some of them recognized as their cats in the fur of coat. The published claim was considered disturbing for most of the social media users. But, we found that there was nothing happened. The website “World News Daily Report” has been considered one of the famous fake news websites. This website had already published a number of fake stories and altered a number of stories for the users of Facebook in order to boost their user traffic and for sharing purposes. The published image in the above mentioned story was taken from a post published in 2013 regarding the arrest of 79-years old Georgian woman, Norma Cheren and the court imposed drug charge, but not related to cats.
