An Ad Posted by DNC Organizers Seeking Actors for DNC
A number of delegates of Bernie Sanders left the Democratic National Convention on 26th July 2016 and it was considered a planned walkout. An advertisement was posted to Craigslist Philadelphia supposedly looking for hundreds of paid “Actors” in order to fill empty seats at the National Convention. It was also said that only one major National Convention was taking place at that time due to Democratic National Convention to be hosted in Philadelphia. There was a little secret that why or who posted this reference. A number of social media users got this post as valuable and it was circulated widely, and a large number of comments also posted on the major event of the Democratic National Convention.
We found that this alleged advertisement was most likely false. The ad referenced the leading up to the convention events and covered both the alleged photographs of walkout and empty seats in a convention center, and the mode of transmission “Craigslist”. It is important that Staffer Christina Freundlich had approved a plan in creating a “Microsite” for a chain of e-mails for DNC, and managed a special team to create false craigslist jobs post for women. The Communication Director of DNC Luis Miranda criticized staffers in an e-mail on a staged protest with lower turnout and posted a tweet. The advertisement for Actors from DNC was considered as a satirical attempt, but this ad was not related to DNC in anyway.
