Are the Images of Syrian Children Killed After Paris Attacks False?
A number of massive attacks on innocent people on 13th November 2015 in Paris have increased debates and discussions on social media network regarding this incident. A Facebook user shared a reproduced update on 18th November 2015. This post indicated by adding an image that a large number of Syrian children have been killed in a heavy airstrike launched by France and the U.S Air Forces. It was said that American and French bombers targeted innocent people and a large number of children have been killed in this attack. The published image asking questions; are these children terrorists of ISIS? How minutes of silence will be there after this incident? How many flags will be lowered? And how many media channels would make coverage?
A large number of international media channels and their countries don’t consider Muslims as humans. This debate is circulating on a large scale on social media networks. Most of them shared the same image but we found that their claim was not correct. Although this image was original and this image captured in Syria, but it was not taken on 17th November 2015. This image was widely spread with news on 22nd August 2013 with a title ‘Syrian forces bomb area of alleged chemical attack’. This incident happened on 21st August 2013 in the area of Damascus in Syria in which more than 280 were killed and more than 1,000 wounded in this massive attack and most of killed people were children. But this image was not taken on 17th November 2015 and the incident was happened on 21st August 2013.
