At least 4 People Killed in a Vehicle Attack outside London Parliament
A number of people have been killed in a disorganized series of attacks on 22nd March 2017 outside the British Parliament. BBC reported that one of the attacks include a man moved a vehicle through crowds of people just outside the British Parliament on the iconic Westminster Bridge. The London Ambulance indicated that at least 10 people were treated on the Westminster Bridge. A junior doctor, Colleen Anderson from St Thomas Hospital also confirmed that one woman was died and a number of people were injured in this incident. She said that most of them were treated with catastrophic injuries. It was confirmed that 4 people including the killer have been dead. Telegraph also reported that attacker started killing people at around 2:40 pm and the Metropolitan Police killed the alleged attacker.
Reports indicated that one woman was killed when the attacker moved a grey Hyundai i40 across Westminster Bridge prior to crashing it into railings. A politician Grant Shapps also indicated that gunfire was heard while walking through the New Palace Yard. He said there was a car crashing railing and heard loud shouting and then heard at least 4 gunshots. Point to be noted that this incident was happened after one year of coordinated bombing attacks in Brussels in which 32 people were killed. The incident was occurred on the same day that a vote on a new Scottish independence referendum was scheduled. Reuters also mentioned that the Scottish parliament stressed to improve security measures.
