A Facebook user Tom McClelland published a reproduced status on 23rd November 2015. This post reported that Buffalo Wild Wings (a restaurant chain) has prohibited guns and any kind of firearm on their location and also disowned the police officer’s service. This news was shared on a very large scale within a week. It is considered very serious that they have kicked out uniformed security guards of police from their locations. This statement made angry to a lot of people on social media and other online networks. An individual commenter asked from McClelland about this claim, but McClelland didn’t reply and didn’t explain more.
One commenter said that he is a law enforcement officer and found your post on Buffalo Wild Wings that you have dismissed the officers from your locations. Another group said that Buffalo Wild Wings didn’t prohibit guns from their all restaurants. Pittsburgh KDKA-TV investigated about this issue and said that a few of the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in Pittsburgh don’t have this kind of sign and they didn’t restricted guns outside their locations, but a number of restaurants have implemented this policy. They confirmed that Buffalo Wild Wings didn’t prohibited guns outside their all locations, but they banned guns and other firearms inside their restaurants. Point to be noted that uniformed police officers are not restricted to enter inside their restaurants. But, the police officers that are not wearing uniforms will be considered as ordinary people.
