China Tariffs and new announcement from White House
The U.S President Donald Trump had been aggressive in getting hard-line on trade since the campaign trail during March. He introduced tariffs of more than 60 billion U.S dollars on Chinese imports. The fees were designed to initially punish the country for not cracking down on knowledgeable property stealing from American companies. On Tuesday, the White House has announced that the U.S administration is going through with a tariff of 25% on the goods worth of 50 billion U.S dollars. The White House also confirmed that the final list of covered items will be released on 15th June 2018. The announcement has indicated that it will include industry-specific technology, including goods from the Made in China 2025 program from the country.
It is important that paired with the threatening language to get even with China were spiritless and fearful applications. It was included for the country to eliminate its entire trade obstacles which make it more difficult and arbitrary in doing business there. It is a similar to brilliant and temperamental change as growing measures from Trump to save ZTE. Last month, the U.S Commerce Department wrecked the Chinese telecom equipment company with import bans. The administration of Donald Trump is trying to play hardball with the country because China has been considered a major trading partner. These tariffs could reflect a major impact on the tech industry due to it pushed to smash tech products, such as satellites and robotics. It will be important to see how China behaves with its own control actions to this bursting trade war.
