Did Syrian Refugees Protest for Better Food, TVs and Internet
A video clip was published on You Tube one day before the Paris attack on 12th November 2015. We are unable to say either the published video have circulated widely on the internet prior the Paris attack incidents. But there was a dazzling article with a title ‘Migrants Dislike Food, Demand TVs and Threaten to go back to Syria, Migrants Sleep on the Streets in Protest at not having TVs in their Rooms’. These refugees are demanding to fulfill their requirements otherwise they will go back to their country. A number of debates and rumors about the crisis of Syrian refugees were overflowing on most of the social media websites since the start of 2015. The incident of a number of coordinated attacks in Paris on innocent civilians changed the scenario.
After the incident of 13th November 2015 Paris attack, a number of rumors changed their thinking and spread globally that asylum finder are being considered as responsible for this major incident. This new scenario reflected negative impact on the interests of Syrian refugees. We experienced that Syrian asylum finders related articles have been pushed to trash after the incident of Paris attack on 13th November 2015. In the month of September 2015 ‘British Tabloid Express’ published an article by indicating a title that ‘Migrants Facing Lack of Cash to Buy Cigarettes and slow speed on internet in their Camps’. The published video clip was the subject of an article of a website ‘AD.nl with a title ‘Refugees Demonstrate in the Streets for Better Reception’.
