Donald Trump rebuked Chuck Schumer in a letter for criticizing his administration
U.S President Donald Trump rebuked Chuck Schumer for criticizing his administration and playing politics. He berated the Senate Democratic leader during his nightly coronavirus briefing. Trump said before the White House released a letter from the President. He wrote in a letter responding to one Schumer wrote him urging him to put a military official in charge of distributing medical supplies to fight Covid-19. Trump said, “Now is not the time for politics. Thank you for your Democrat public relations letter and incorrect sound bites, which are wrong in every way”.
The U.S Senate minority leader, Schumer wrote, “The existing federal leadership void has left America with an ugly spectacle in which States and cities are literally fending for themselves, often in conflict and competition with each other, when trying to procure precious medical supplies and equipment”. Recently, both New Yorkers spoke by phone several times, but they have now decided on Thursday to trade barbs on paper as thousands more Americans tested positive for the disease.
President Trump wrote, “If you spent less time on your ridiculous impeachment hoax, which went haplessly on forever and ended up going nowhere except increasing my poll numbers and instead focused on helping the people of New York, then New York would not have been so completely unprepared for the invisible enemy. No wonder AOC and others are thinking about running against you in the primary. If they did, they would likely win”.
