Fab 42 Factory of Intel will Generate 3,000 Jobs in the U.S
Intel has planned to finalize Fab 42 (a semiconductor factory) in Chandler, Arizona. This project will be completed over the next 3 to 4 years with an estimated investment of more than 7 billion U.S dollars. At least 3 thousand process engineers, facilities-support engineers, technicians and equipment technicians will be appointed in the factory. It is expected that Fab 42 will produce 7 nanometer chips and this factory will be considered the most advanced semiconductor factory in the world. This announcement was made beside the U.S President Donald Trump at the White House. The event captured by cameras showing that the CEO of Intel, Brian Krzanich was offering a gift to the U.S President by explaining how the U.S regulatory tax policies had “Pushed Back” his business in the past couple of years.
The technology reporter of New York Times, Farhad Manjoo and others also made a quick reply on Twitter by pointing out that the investment of Intel in Fab 42 wasn’t due to the new federal subsidies or credits. Point to be noted that the factory was actually announced in the year 2011 and a large portion had been completed in 2014, and remaining was on hold because massive burden of regulatory amount as it continuously declined the PC sales. Intel has temporarily shifted its manufacturing focus on the present facilities and waiting to recover the market. Now, Intel is looking to move forward with its actual plans of hiring at least 3 thousand new workers. Intel is not only for using Trump as a way to raise media interest in an existed business deal. Trump showed a boost signal to Sprint when he admired the company for generating 5 thousand jobs in the United States.
