Fox Chief Ailes Resigned from Fox News and Joined Trump’s Election Campaign
The former head of Fox News cable network Roger Ailes has allegedly been wired by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump for his support in preparing for contests against his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton. So, Ailes was demoted from Fox News in the month of July 2016 due to accusation of sexual harassment pointed at him by female employees of Fox News network. Some of them include on-air personalities Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson. Sources indicated that on 16th August 2016, the New York Times reported that Ailes has planned to join the Trump camp. He is supporting the team of Donald Trump as he helped Trump in the first contest with Hillary Clinton.
A number of requests for comments and confirmation were sent to the press office of Donald Trump, but haven’t yet received any answer. A spokeswoman for Trump Hope Hicks told the New York Times that Ailes didn’t officially help Trump in the election campaign. Point to be noted that Ailes has a historical political campaigns background and worked for a number of Republican politicians including George H.W. Bush, Rudy Giuliani and Ronald Reagan. When he left Fox News, Donald Trump reserved 76 years old Ailes to join his election campaign. Trump also told NBC News that “I ever found him as a very good and talented person in many ways. He said that a number of people are agreed to run my campaign, so I request him to join my election campaign”.
