The NBC network said on Tuesday that longtime co-host of the 4^th hour of the NBC morning franchise “Today”, Hoda Kotb will replace Matt Lauer as co-anchor of the opening hours of the program. On Tuesday, another anchor of the show is Savannah Guthrie and announced the appointment news of Hoda Kotb during the broadcast. On Tuesday, NBC announced that Ms. Kotb will remain co-host of the 10 a.m. hour of “Today” with Kathie Lee Gifford and Megyn Kelly will be the sole host of the 9 a.m. hour. It is important that NBC has defeated its ABC rival “Good Morning America” every week since Mr. Lauer was terminated.
