Matthew and Martha Miele, parents of a six-year old child student who was suspended from ‘Our Lady of Lourdes School in Westwood, Ohio for three days. The six-year old student was suspended due to shooting an unreal arrow using a bow at his affected classmate during interval break. Matthew and Miele said to Cincinnati television station WCPO that they could not find anything worse with his action, but the school need to maintain zero level tolerance policy against threatening wave. Parents are angry at this action that their 6-year old son has been suspended for three days from a Catholic school in Westwood.
The school administration said that their son performed a severe action against his classmate friend as he shoot an unreal arrow using bow at another student during interval session. Matthew said that we didn’t find anything wrong by his playing action and it didn’t harm any other student in the school. The principle of school Joe Crachiolo was informed about this incident by a teacher marked him alleged by having power ranger as he was playing with other friends during interval time. Matthew and Martha Miele said that they encourage their son to play with his crossbow, but we are much frustrated for the suspension of their son. The principle of the school said that the school rules prevent any kind of violence and severe action such as shooting in games but he didn’t specifically stated about the use of bow and arrow as severe action that violate the rules and regulations of the school.
