Japan to Restart its Nuclear Power Plants
This is a good news for the Japan as this country has again paved its way towards nuclear power, after a long time of three years of Fukushima disaster, after a town in the country’s south west voted to approve the two reactors coming back online. This is a good move towards the creation of the nuclear power in the Japan. According to the News officials, 19 out of 26 members in Satsumasendai, which is located 600 miles south west of Tokyo, has given a full favor in order to restart the power plants, and in this voting, four voted against the restarting of the plants, while three abstained from this voting. The vote doesn’t mean that reactors have got a whole approval for the restart of the power plants, but it requires new safety approvals and safety requirements to go these power plants. This is the move, which will towards the boost to initiate the reactors in order to produce the electricity. Prime minster has also shown his interests for the initiation of the nuclear power plants. Three years ago, this disaster forced the evacuation of more than 160,000 people and contaminated communities around the plant, Many evacuates are still unable to return home owing to the high radiation level. After this incident, 48 reactors of the countries were closed. Before fukushima, the nuclear sector was offering the 30% of the country’s energy needs and these plants were to increase its share by 50% by the end of 2030. So, Japan is paving its way to make its nuclear power as a energy producing system.
