The queen of reality television, Kim Kardashian West made an extraordinary visit to see U.S President Donald Trump at White House. She advocated on behalf of the 63-years old woman who has spent at least 2-decades in prison due to her first-time nonviolent drug offense. 63-years old Alice Marie Johnson was handed a life sentence without a parole. The legal team of Marie Johnson and Kardashian celebrated her birthday and asked Trump to give her forgiveness. Marie Johnson was 42-years old when she was imprisoned for the first time in the 1990s. She was arrested in a cocaine trafficking plot from her apartment in Memphis. A grand jury in the Western District of Tennessee charged on 8 counts in 1994 for selling a prohibited substance.
She needed forgiveness once before 2014 when Barack Obama was reelected as the U.S President. Now, the legal team of Marie Johnson is hoping that Kardashian visit to White House will show the difference under the administration of Trump. One of the Marie Johnson’s lawyers, Brittany Barnett said that it is now up to the U.S President to decide and save the life of Marie Johnson. Trump hasn’t yet made any decision about her future when he tweeted about the visit of Kardashian. She has been working toward her release and enlisted the help of her personal attorney. The White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a statement that additional information will be provided regarding the visit of Kardashian. It is important that 37-years old Kardashian supported Hillary Clinton during presidential election campaign 2016.
