On 4th September 2015, Deutsche Welle indicated about an incident that more than 30 participants rapidly harmed at a homeopathy conference in Northern Germany. A call for help was received at 2:25 pm from the convention center. Within one hour, more than 150 responded on this incident including Red Cross,Firefighters and Emergency medical staff, Ambulances, Chemical specialists and police reached at the convention center in order to deal the situation supposedly happened by mass poisoning. At the end, more than 30 visitors were hospitalized infected from phantasm having breathing problems, and their age recorded between 30 to 55 years.
The report indicated that a large number of people were infected at German homeopathy conference in Northern Germany. A spokesman for the district of Harburg Johannes Freudewald said that nobody was seriously ill in these patients. It was just amphetamine poisoning which caused problem. On 5th September, DW published an article indicating that more than 25 participants were hospitalized and necessary investigation is on its way. Police also said that they have started investigation in the collaboration with German Anti-Narcotics agency. A news magazine also reported ‘Der Spiegel’ indicated that affected participants were homeopathic practitioners. There were a large number of doctors among the practitioners group and they predicted that these practitioners might have taken part in a drug experiment.
