MTV Star “Big Black” Christopher Boykin has Passed Away

A number of sources have confirmed that the former co-star of “Rob & Big” of MTV reality show Christopher Boykin has passed away on 9th May 2017 at the age of 45. He was come to fame as the co-star of the MTV series Rob & Big along with pro Skateboarder Rob Dyrdek. A representative also confirmed to People magazine that his cause of death was supposedly a heart attack. Boykin was better known to his fans by nickname Big Black. He was 6.5 feet tall and 45 years of age. The former security guard also performed as bodyguard of Dyrdek in the show of MTV. It followed the best friends on comical adventures in and around the Hollywood.

This series was debuted in the year 2006 and lasted just 19 episodes. But, its stars were again gathered when Boykin joined the cast of Dyrdek’s successive show, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory in the year 2012. Dyrdek sorrowed on the death of Boykin and made a series of tweets. MTV also issued a statement that “MTV is deeply saddened about the passing away news of Christopher Boykin “Big Black”. He was a beloved and longtime member of the MTV family and we will miss him too much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends”. Boykin left behind a 9 years old daughter Iris Rae Boykin.
