North Korea released 3-U.S Prisoners and welcomed by Trump & Melania
On Thursday, the U.S President Donald Trump welcomed 3-former U.S. prisoners at a military base near Washington released from North Korea. The U.S President thanked North Korean leader Kim Jong Un for the release of these U.S prisoners and it will provide a friendly environment to a planned summit between the two countries. The release of these prisoners took place after U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made an official visit to the North Korean capital. A U.S plane was landed at Joint Base Andrews outside Washington and a giant U.S flag was hanging up between ladders of 2-fire trucks on the edge of the taxiway. The U.S President Trump and his wife Melania boarded the plane for at least 5-minutes before the men came out.
The released prisoners were shaking hands with the U.S President and waving to waiting media and military personnel. Trump said after thanking Kim for releasing these U.S prisoners that he didn’t think it was going to happen, but he did it. We are starting off on a new footing and the release of these men is a wonderful thing. Trump said that he believes Kim needed to bring North Korea into the real world and hopeful of the important breakthrough at their planned meeting. Point to be noted that tensions started decreasing when North Korea participated in the Winter Olympics in South Korea in the month of February 2018. Details haven’t yet announced for a planned summit between both sides, but a U.S official said that Singapore might be the best place of meeting.
