Obama Pardons Gun Trafficking Convict
In the month of September 2015, news was rapidly circulated on social media sites regarding a firearm court case of a 24 year old man Dontray Mills. Mills was under arrest in April 2014 when the ATF agency (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) started investigation about his contribution in a number of firearms transactions between the years 2012-2014. According to the report, a complaint has been submitted in the federal criminal court of a 24 year old man Dontray Mills. He was charged for significantly using false description in buying guns. A number of social media sites indicated that a man was arrested for purchasing a large number of firearms using false statements. The statement was used of a woman; she said that “I was shocked when law enforcement agencies knocked her door”.
According to the officials, Dontray Mills purchased 27 firearms from 2012 to April 2014 and placed them in Mills Fleet Farm and Gander Mountain (but it was not his mentioned address). So, investigators did not find any weapon on the mentioned address and observed that those arms have been resold or potential buyers were criminals who purchased firearms from Mills. A website Journal-Sentinel published an article in the month of August 2015 regarding a court case of Milwaukee. He was charged for buying 55 firearms with false identification and he was dealing them without license. The federal judge said in this case that “People kill people” and a U.S District judge also said that “Guns don’t kill people”. As the case result of Dontray Mills, he will not be able to buy legally any kind of firearms in the future and the public prosecutors agreed for one year trial period for Mills.
