President Trump to visit US-Mexico Border Wall in Texas
A senior US administration official has confirmed that the public will see President Trump for the first time since the insurrection on Monday with remarks on big tech canceling him after being permanently banned on Twitter and various other social media platforms. He will resume some contact with Cabinet secretaries. Trump has also planned to work with the Pentagon and Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller on unspecified transition issues. Trump will then appear at the border in Texas on Tuesday. The White House issued a statement and said, “President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit the Rio Grande Valley on the border of Texas and Mexico to highlight his administration’s work on the border wall”. He will also travel to the town of Alamo, Texas.
President Trump will also mark the completion of 400 miles of the border wall and his administration’s efforts to reform what the White House described as the nation’s broken immigration system. Our authentic sources have informed us that Trump will land in Harlingen, Texas on Tuesday at an unconfirmed time and then take a helicopter to McAllen, Texas. It will be the 2nd trip to the Rio Grande Valley during his presidency. President Trump first visited the Rio Grande Valley in 2019 to meet with border security officials about the border wall. Point to be noted that Trump’s campaign for the presidency in 2016 focused extensively on the president’s desire to construct a border wall.
Donald Trump also promised that Mexico would pay for the wall, but it has been paid for by US taxpayers. However, most of the wall went up in areas that had smaller barriers, the government has built hundreds of miles of fencing as high as 30 feet (9 meters) in a short amount of time. The US administration prioritized areas where the wall could be built more quickly. The crews have blasted hills and bulldozed sensitive habitats in national wildlife refuges. It is noteworthy that this visit will likely be the president’s first public appearance since he addressed supporters on Wednesday riling up a crowd that later staged a violent siege of the US Capitol.
