Senator Ted Cruz Twitted that Deport Beyonce for Super Bowl Performance

An image appeared supposedly showing a tweet on 15^th February 2016 posted by Senator Ted Cruz. This tweet indicated that Ted Cruz threatened to deport the popular singer Beyonce due to her “Super Bowl 50” performance. A large number of people claimed that tweet of Senator Ted Cruz is real and correct. But, we found that his message didn’t appear on the timeline of Cruz and we didn’t find any kind of evidence regarding authenticity of this tweet. There are many aspects regarding the published image that are questionable for its authenticity. We found that Ted Cruz is a verified Twitter user and his tweets normally appear with a blue mark of verification with his name, but it is absent from the published image.

Another thing is that published image claimed that the message re-tweeted by thousands of users. If it is true then there should be a number of links regarding the original tweet of Ted Cruz, but not found. It is important that the image and supposed tweet of Ted Cruz was shared by a number of social media users, but not including any link regarding the tweet of Senator Ted Cruz. It is important that Beyonce performed her Super Bowl show on 7^th February 2016 and Ted Cruz was busy. It is unbelievable that how Cruz waited for a week and made comment regarding the performance of Beyonce. Point to be noted that displayed fake tweet was initially published with a captured screenshot of Twitter page of Ted Cruz by Anderson Cooper, but it was not appeared on the social media profile of Anderson Cooper.
