The Honorary Mayor Stubbs has died at the Age 20

On Saturday, the animal’s owners have announced the death of “Stubbs” the cat. Stubbs lived for 20 years and 3 months. He was a hero until the very last day of his life. The owners of Stubbs said thanks to Stubbs for coming into their lives for the last 31 months. They further added that he was a remarkable cat and they are dearly missing him and they loved the time allowed to spend with Stubbs. The KTVA-TV affiliated with CBS reported that the family of Stubbs said that Stubbs was most famous as Mayor Stubbs and he went on bed on Thursday night and died overnight. It is important that the yellow cat mayor was elected in 1998 in a write-in campaign from a town Talkeetna having population of at least 900.

KTVA-TV also reported, it is interesting that there is no human mayor in the town and Stubbs had survived an attack in 2013 by a dog, but fake news circulated last year regarding his death. Stubbs had shared the home with other kittens named Denali and Aurora and some other little joined him and became his best friends. Stubbs went to bed on Thursday night and slept near to Aurora. He was already in heaven when the family woke up on Friday. One of his owners might be ready to take up his mayoral mantle. Now, Denali is the perfect candidate as Stubbs. He also loves the attention and also like a little puppy when he is around people and he might be a perfect match by having everything as Stubbs.
