An entertainment website “National Report” published an article on 17th May 2016 and reported that Target had stopped selling the “Bible” to stop provision for Religious Extremists. Cornell informed to CNBC about recent protests and called it Religious Extremists. He said that it was the major reason to pull back the Bible from its shelves. He added that Target will no longer be able to provide the Bible for Religious Extremists. Cornell said that if anyone is considering the removal of the Bible from the shelves of Target then obviously it is. He added that the chain of Big Box is sticking to its guns about their policy for bathrooms and taking steps with religion. Cornell further added that we also believe that our every team member, every guest and every community demands to be treated equally despite to their religious beliefs.
It is important that a large number of people had signed on a petition against Target after the confirmation from the store about its dedication in the month of April 2016. Target had allowed transgender customers to use store’s bathroom after showing their gender identity. But, Target didn’t settle by pulling back the Bible from the shelves in its stores. When we tried to find correctness of this story, we found that it was a piece of fiction published by a fake news website “National Report”. The disclaimer of this website indicated that this website often using real names or semi-real names according to circumstances. We found that the website of Target had indicated that the Bible is still in the store for sale.
