This story was originally published on 6th July 2014 by ‘American News’ website. According to the article, the U.S President has made a plan to deliver at least 195 U.S dollars to Syrian people so they celebrate their Eid ul Fitr which is one of the major religious events for the Muslims. This article indicated that the U.S President is deciding individually that what decision would be in the favor of the American people.
It is important that the article republished by the American News clearly described an official press release by the White House. We found that republished article of December 2015 by American News is misleading the visitors and users, and most of the social media users believe it as the current news. We found that the U.S President Barak Obama had announced at least two years earlier on 7th August 2013 that the United States has decided to provide more humanitarian aid for the Syrian people, and the U.S President and his wife sent their warmest greeting to the Muslims of Syria and to all the Muslims in the world on their religious event of Eid ul Fitr. Originally, the U.S President announced the humanitarian aid for the Syrian people, but not on their religious event.
