On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump said he might wear a protective mask when he tours a plant in Arizona that has been producing the anti-coronavirus face gear. He added a government report predicts thousands of more coronavirus deaths than formerly projected is based on ‘No Mitigation’. He said, “I think it’s a mask facility. If it’s a mask facility, I will”. He has indicated that he will fly to the Honeywell factory on Air Force One. Trump added that the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) report points the number of daily Covid-19 deaths to double by 1st June.

President said he isn’t concerned about states reopening their economies too quickly because that assumes no mitigation, but we are doing mitigation. But, the report includes a model that has been used by his own White House administration. It predicts and warns the number of new coronavirus cases per day could climb as high as 200,000. Trump said, “I’ve seen models that are very inaccurate. If we did this a different way, we would have lost more than 2 million people”. He also claimed and said, “We did everything right”. Democrats and some public health officials continue to criticize what they see as a slow and uneven federal response.

Now, the US President is pushing states to reopen even as his own health advisers state clearly that the deadly virus is still spreading in both urban and rural areas. The president spoke to reporters both as he left the White House and before he boarded Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews. Trump made clear he is willing to put the recovery of the economy over tens of thousands of Americans getting sick or dying. He said, “If they held people any longer with the shutdowns, you’ll lose people, too”. One reason the president said the economy can open back up is about washing their hands a lot.
