Trump alleged Obama administration for Coronavirus rampant
U.S President Donald Trump alleged disorganized response from his government to the coronavirus rampant on the Obama administration without any explanation or evidence. President Trump claimed, “The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing, and we undid that decision a few days ago so that the testing can take place in a much more accurate and rapid fashion”. He added, “That was a decision we disagreed with. I don’t think we would have made it, but for some reason, it was made”. It is noteworthy that Trump has formerly drawn comparisons between his response to the outbreak and the response from the Obama administration to the Ebola rampant of 2014.
Trump also called his predecessor a psycho, at the time and railed against evacuations of Americans from areas hit with Ebola. It is a tactic Trump’s own administration is now employing. Ronald Klain has strongly criticized the Trump administration’s handling of the current rampant. He was talking with MSNBC and said, the Trump administration’s response was subject to a crisis of both confidence and competence. Point to be noted that the U.S has now experienced 11 deaths from coronavirus. The first death outside Washington State was confirmed on Thursday in California and the State declared a state of emergency.
The United States has struggled to manage its response to the spread of the disease. The initial diagnostic efforts badly botched and federal workers sent to help quarantined people without proper protection. Some have blamed difficulties in responding to the virus on various cuts to relevant agencies and programs imposed by the Trump administration. Trump has repeatedly appeared startlingly uninformed about the virus. He recently suggested that it could be prevented with the flu vaccine. Trump has also been criticized for appointing his vice-president, Mike Pence as the head of coronavirus response to the rampant. He was alleged for responding too slowly to an HIV outbreak.
