There were a series of planned demonstrations and protests regarding sending an invitation to the U.S President Donald Trump. More than 2 million people have signed a petition demanding not to send the supposed invitation to Donald Trump. It is important that the supposed invitation has been kicked away because Queen didn’t mention the proposed invitation to Donald Trump last month during her announcement of entire visits in the coming year. Some media reports have indicated that Trump needs Theresa May to fix it for him in order to get a warm welcome from British people. Trump also warned that he will not visit UK until the British people start liking him. The Sun also published a transcript of a private conversation in which Trump said: “I didn’t get great coverage in the UK, I still need to visit there, but I am not in hurry”.
The Mayor of UK capital Sadiq Khan delivered his words against travel ban of Donald Trump. This ban specifically targeted people from mainly Muslim countries. Yesterday, CNN asked from Theresa May about the proposed state visit, which will supposedly take place in 2018. The former labor minister said that he was ready to play his role when it came to contest the opinions of the British people. He also indicated that state visits are much different from any formal visit. He added that it is the time when the policies of U.S President were being disliked by most people in our country. It might not be appropriate for our government to roll out the red carpet.
