Uber will operate its self-driving fleet from California to Arizona
The California DMV stepped in earlier this week and self-driving vehicle tests on the streets of San Francisco from Uber has ended. The Company breezed in both state officials and city, so State canceled the registration for self-driving cars of Uber and claimed that Company is operating its services in San Francisco without getting permission. Now, Uber is taking its self-driving vehicles to another location to continue providing its services and supposedly on the streets of Arizona. San Jose Mercury News reporter Marisa Kendall posted news today on Twitter that Uber officials said it was an essential step.
The spokesperson of Uber informed us that their fleet of advanced Volvo XC90 SUVs vehicles originally moved to Arizona on Thursday morning on one of the Otto trucks of the Company. The Company has planned to start rolling out there in a couple of weeks with a handsome support from the Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey due to Ducey had offered support on Twitter. The “Venture Beat” indicated that the State is taking steps to create an essential policy on self-driving vehicles by forming a committee of transportation by adding policy & public safety experts. In spite all the facts, this move has been considered a surprise to the officials of Arizona. The AZDOT was supposedly uninformed the Uber has planned in bringing their self-driving vehicles to state without any notice.
