White House has Fired Trump’s personal assistant John McEntee
On Tuesday, the administration of White House has fired the personal assistant of the U.S President Donald Trump, John McEntee. He had been with President Trump since the beginning of his campaign. The firing of McEntee was first reported by the Wall Street Journal. It was also said that he will rejoin as a senior adviser for the ongoing campaign of Trump. He has now become a victim of a series of termination by the officials of West Wing. There are a number of senior White House officials kicked off by the President Donald Trump. The latest departures include the termination of White House communications director Hope Hicks and staff secretary Rob Porter.
It is still unclear why McEntee left the White House, but Wall Street Journal published the initial report about his termination and indicated his leaving due to some unspecified security issues. Point to be noted that prior to departure of McEntee, 43% executive staff of President Trump had left during first 14 months of his joining as the U.S President. It was also said that Trump fired the U.S Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and nominated Mike Pompeo as the new CIA Director. After the final approval, Gina Haspel will also serve as the deputy director of CIA, so she will be the first woman operating a U.S spy agency. Trump campaign also announced on Tuesday that Katrina Pierson will rejoin as a senior advisor of Trump’s campaign. She served as the national spokeswoman during 2016 presidential campaign.
